Strike master chipper lite idling?

Hi, I recently got a chipper lite it's a great auger but it won't idle on its own you have to have your finger on the throttle has anyone had this problem with the solo engine do I need to adjust something? Thanks!

I know on my jiffy there is a idle screw to adjust, look where your throttle cable goes to on the carb

You should see a screw connected to the throttle cable.  Tighten it up a little bit, but not so much that it spins the bit.

when you say you recently got it, does that mean it's brand new?  

might just need to finish a break-in period.  I might hesitate to start making adjustments on a brand new machine that isn't broken in yet.

I ran it for around a half hour drilled a dozen holes and still ran bad so a I made an adjustment and runs perfect know!
