15000 btu Empire heater

I installed a Empire DV 215 heater in my fish house.

for some reason I'm not getting the secondary flame.

does anybody have any experience with this heater?

The manual does not give much for troubleshooting.

anybody have any experience with it or have one?

I have these in my rentals (very reliable) but I have never had to work on one. The obvious is blockage I guess, and would require getting the burner out to inspect. I buy mine from a local gas company. If you have such a place you could give them a call, they may be able to help you or fix it.

Is the thermostat turned up. Is it just burning the pilot

I agree...it could be a bad thermostat.  Take it off the wall and hard wire it to check.

Empire's technical support is very good.  Give them a call.

got it fixed! 

gas line had a restriction in (bad bend)

put a appliance gas line on it works like it should now

went from 25 to 60 in a hour
