My bird feeder has been emptying rather quickly lately.  I put up a trail cam last night.  Will keep you posted.

In my case, a deer has figured out that if she bumps it with her nose she gets a mouthful of sunflower seeds.  Full in the evening, empty in morning, still hanging from the shepherd's crook.

Del,

at the old Paul Bunyan Land in Baxter/Brainerd you would put a quarter in the machine and a duck or chicken would come out and play the drums or do some other musical task.  After that some corn would spill out for the poor bird as it's reward.  I believe it's called conditioned response training.  At least you're saving the quarter.
