Canada birds

Can you bring Canadian birds back to Minnisota this year? I heard the avian flu issue has banned wild birds from being taken across the border

As of Saturday the ban was lifted. Canadian birds are now being alowed in. 

It would be best to check with your outfitter for the latest info. 

They are also recommending that you individually package your birds and date the bags as well as write details of where you bagged them just n case the customs guys need that information.

Maybe I'm missing something, but why would you not allow MIGRATING birds across the border? Pretty sure they're gonna come this way regardless of what regs we make...

Their is a ban preventing poultry from crossing the border  imposed by both sides of the line . The ban included chicken , turkey ,eggs and any wild bird ,

Some times rules/laws are made for simplicity...It's waaaaay easier to ban all poultry then it would be to make exceptions.
