Duck-o-holic
Anybody hunting Prarie Chickens in MN this year? I think the applications are due by 7/25/03. I'd love to hear some good stories if anybody makes it out hunting them this year!Duck-o-holic
Norsky
I put my applications in for it! Not sure if my chances are very good though. Sure would be fun.
Lunker
I saw a report saying that less people have applied them the have permits, so unless there are a ton of late applicatns, it looks like the chances are good for ya.
Jay R
I have also applied for this hunt and hope to be drawn. This should be a blast I know my Grandfather is really excited as he did have a chance to hunt chickens back in the Good Old Days. I have not heard how many people applid but there are only 100 licences available. I had read in Outdoor News sometime ago that they expected about 1000 applicants. Have fun.Jay

Norsky
I was denied also, bummer! I'll just have to stick to the pheasants!
Norsky
Well it seems that the DNR's HSOforum wasn't correct when they told me I was denied for a chicken license, WE WERE ACTUALLY SUCCESSFUL!!! We just received the license permit/application in the mail. If anyone knows of someone in the 420 B permit area that has land that may allow hunting please let me know. thanks much.
