I hunt 180 and we went from Bucks only to Lottery.  So we can apply for a anterless permit if we want a chance at a doe.  For those that don't get chosen you can still hunt for bucks only.  You can only harvest one deer however.  good luck.

Our area didn't change at all this year it was lottery last year and same this year saw a ton of doe last year only a couple small bucks hopefully the mild winter helps even more to at least get it to hunter choice next year

My primary rifle zone went from HC to Managed. I am happy with that. My primary Archery zone is still HC. I am fine with that as well.

I got a question on the topic...

1) What's with the ATV laws? I don't remember it being so complicated regarding the deer season regarding the type of area and area locations...

I think the ATV/OHV rules were rewritten to include a section on recreational riding (Page 26). Basically it says you can't ride for fun during deer season but you can ride during designated times.

The change that really got my attention was that scopes are now allowed on muzzle loaders for those of us over 60. It's been getting harder and harder for me to focus on that front sight at 66 years old, even with the current fiber optics I put on it. I hunt deep woods up by Isabella where a 50 yard shot is a long shot, so based on my shooting at the range this summer I'm still OK. But I'm probably going to have to look hard at putting a scope on my rifle next year. It's going to almost kill me to put a scope on that Pedersoli Frontier sidelock, but I am afraid if my eyes get any worse, it'll be necessary.
