I think Mama's got him busy doing some housework or washing dishes or something.  Me, I just paused my movie to pour myself a cold one (A&W Cream Soda) and grab some more Extra cheddar Goldfish crackers......almost as good as Rice-a-roni, the Sheep shearer's treat. Rice -a-roni, it really can't be beat....

Ya, things were OK docking out, but Dotch kept looking back, and he was just heartbroken, so I turned the boar around and went back to shore. Poor Dotch was so happy to see his friends waiting for him, we just kept quiet......

So this is how you act when you hit the hard stuff (A&W Cream Soda?!?!?). Rather than go after union thugs, you pick on poor sheep farmers who struggle to make ends meet? The gratitude of some people I tell ya!

The Union thug is in hiding tonite, have you noticed,and I did point out your empathetic side toward your livestock, which is to be commended. Besides, I think the sheep were staring at Smurfy anyway, wondering just WTH is THAT thing?!  You have my greatest respect for the job you do with those lambchops, I couldn't do it. I've been abused and run over by sheep before. It was a baaaad experience, as one wooly found a liking to chewing on my left ear while I was at a disadvantage.

neither...........causin trouble!!!!!!!! I actually stay at the country inn next to that museum when I have to stay overnite in rapids.

We used to watch the show "Ba Ba Blacksheep" in college.  Pappi always went head to head with his Japanese counterpart but they never killed each other, maybe that was the last episode.  Great show.  Back to back with Grizzly Adams would be too much to take.

Just some spaghetti (thought about Boar) sauce with m'rooms and bacon chunks, garlic/dill toast I made, and those Johnsonville sausages I still had left. I couldn't eat 'em after RH's real stuff. Seriously. I'm ruined for any kind of sausage. Haveta fill 'em fulla fly dope and feed 'em to the drunken fools bark machine next door.

Fought the howling winds, found a spot on corner of the deck, and got a nice smoke goin' in the Weber. Threw three of RH's delicious Chili brats on for a couple minutes to finish them off......

Then sat down to a perfect dinner...the chili brats, coleslaw, and some mac salad... *NOM*NOM*NOM* 

Didn't even bother with the sauerkraut, mustard or a glass of milk!

 

 

One tip I'll pass along, that everyone already knows, is NEVER, EVER,  poke a finished brat on the grill with a toothpick tip, just because the juice is bulging under the casing. It WILL squirt two feet in the air, hitting you on the cheek, and causing you to scream,  dance in circles on the deck, and utter words that cause the flying geese overhead to have singe marks on their bottom feathers. Even though that might be viewed as par for the course around here, it HURTS!!  *owie*owie*owie*

 

Thanks again, Rh...they were seriously some good sausage. I just don't know which ones I like better, so next time I'll eat both varieties.

Lotsa snow on the ground down here, bobber. Piles at driveway end are 4' high, easy. At least 4-6"  solid snow on the ground everywhere.

Snow diminished greatly today. Mass exodus of fish houses from St. Olaf Lake. More festive disposbale fine china with Papa Murphy's Mediterranean  chicken. Love sun dried ' maters!

Nice job Reb! Sounds like that reinhard has it goin' on when it comes to sausage. I see you even got the fork on the proper side as to avoid drawing another scathing rebuke from the fork police.

I been gettin' rebuked my whole life. Just revs me up and makes me dig in harder.   Was nice just getting out in the gale force breeze and smoking things up a bit. That breeze sure got the coals ashed over fast!

A little yardbird and some Alaskan bear food. Weber steak and chop seasoning + light dusting of cumin on the chicken, lemon pepper on the salmon. Both basted with a very light layer of olive oil when put on and when turned. About 10 minutes start to finish on the grill, tender and juicy. Mrs. Cheviot made some rice and purchased Mrs. Gerry's coleslaw. Meal met approval although I was admonished for photographing the blessed event. I did not wipe the fork LL. Can't win for losing some days...
