Call of Duty: Black Ops III

Ive liked the past few BOps maybe Ill jump back into the series with this one.

What was the consensus on Advanced Warfare? I never purchased it and only played a few matches on the PS3. I actually did pretty good but didnt like the super jumping, plus, I couldnt believe how bad the graphics looked compared to previous titles.

AW was the first COD that I didn't buy, all because of the ridiculous exo-skeletons. From what I've read and heard I wasn't the only one who thought they were cheesy and shouldn't have been part of the COD franchise. I'm sure they still sold a ton of copies but it didn't sound like the hype was there as with previous releases.

Anyway, I hope the gimmicks are gone and we can get back to true Call of Duty gameplay again. I haven't picked up a controller since late last summer, but if it looks like this installment reverts back to typical COD I'll probably look at upgrading my console to a PS4 or XBONE and getting a copy.

If it isnt on PS3 I definitely wont be getting it. I cant justify paying that kind of money for a new system and game I wont get to play much with school being such a big time suck lately.

Does anyone know if the original MW or MW2 servers are still playable on PS3?

Too bad you didn't give the exos a chance. I won't say I'm a fan of them but got used to using them and enjoyed the most lag free series of this this franchise ever.

Same here. The Exo Zombies is about the best Zombies there's been.

Some promising news coming out of Treyarch.

No Exoskeletons!!!

They are going to have some sort of thrust jumps and slides, but it's not at the extreme of Exoskeletons.

Unlimited sprint (no perk needed)

Auto mantling - no jumping required to climb over objects.

Wall running.

They are also going to open a beta testing period for folks who pre-order.

i agree, im actually going to miss the exo suits, this series will never keep everyone happy though, people complain they want some thing new and when new comes out they complain they want the classic back, i would also like to add that AW had an entire play list in the classic mode for the people who wanted it that way, so using the exo as a excuse to not buy the game is poor at best, i can you one thing though im not looking forward to the "three" lane map style thats coming back along with the limited vertical game play.

so if you never bought the game i assume your fully educated on all the game modes?? classic mode had the boost jumps disabled, and that's the part you didn't care for, at lease AW was better than the last turd IW pumped out, this game like all others will not please everyone and one persons idea of a awesome game will be someones idea of a bad game

At E3 a few moments ago Sony announced that PlayStation is the "Home of Call of Duty" and will now have the exclusive rights that XBOX previously had.  They also mentioned that PS owners will be able to try the Black Flops 3 beta version in August if you preorder.

People still play this game? I have given up on the COD games and all of the cheaters, and problems. I dont miss it at all. The past few years nothing has changed other then new guns, and new maps, with new stupid perks like having a super jump. 

If you ask me, the game needs to keep it real, make it as life like as possible. No super powers, no magical shields, or super bullets. If you get shot in the head or mid section, your dead. If you get shot in the leg, you crawl. Make your equipment real life. You aren't going to run around the map with 2 full size guns, and all of the special equipment. Until then, I will enjoy hunting and fishing in the real world.

Played 3 matches quick Wednesday night before heading to Nodak. Was not impressed but willing to give it time. Graphics would be my biggest issue but realize that may be due to playing the outdated system. Can take the hint that they want me to upgrade.
