Storing 1 man portable

I have an old one man fishtrap with no cover. I run two closet rods cut down to size under the metal frame that holds the seat and then lift it up into the garage rafters. The closet rods sit on top of the rafters holding it up in place.

I can then leave my rod bag, ice scoop, and any other gear in the sled and its out of the way until next season.

Your rafters must be spaced much wider than trusses. Trusses are only 24" apart, so no way for sled to sit between them. When you store it make sure and add some dryer sheets to keep the mice out.

Good Luck!

That is what I use. One of my favorite things in the garage. In the Winter I store the kids Power Wheels and out door patio rug and accessories on there. Then when Ice season is done, that comes down and the ice house goes up. Well worth the money.
