Only one of the 3 players was released, the county did not seek felony charges now it goes to the city prosecuter for charges but it is likely no charges will be filed. Although I dont agree with 3 people stomping on someone, sounds to me like the guy deserved what he got.

The guy deserved what he got? What are you talking about. The story I heard was Farmer was hitting on the guys WIFE!! He told him to go away. I mean come on the guys WIFE is off limits to hit on. Then he started to hit on his WIFE again outside. I don't see where he got what he deserved.

Ya, I don't know that physical violence is what anyone deserves, regardless of circumstances.

The guy was down, beat down, and they are still whooping on him. And since they did not break any bones, in Minnesota it appearently does not get felony treatment.

Farmer was released, and has not been picked up yet. But because of the shortage of tight ends available, he will probably end up somewhere.

Not much Tice can do with the players aggreement in place other than cut or demote the players involved. The ablilty to fine a player substantially is very restricted under the aggreement and anytyhing he would do would very likely be overturned as it was with the Moss traffic cop wantabe situation.
