Check this out. This northern came in right under me and was only a foot under the ice. It angled down and attacked my deke. What a thrill to watch this big girl come in and out of the hole.

Thanks for sharing Cherokee! I haven't been able to get out much this year and record any myself and watching other's videos help. That pike is as big as many muskies I normally see.

I use to say that I only wanted to harvest (by hook or by spear) one more pike bigger than 30" in my life, and it would have to be bigger than 40" and it would be destined for the wall. I think I have grown out of that and now will probably just pass on anything bigger than 30". These videos I think helped change my thinking.
