lookincalifornia
I never seem to pick a good team for the classic! Even my weight was WAY off!
M1dwestF1sh
Really wish the night before the classic I didn't drop bobby lane for Andy Montgomery....
JP Z
Yep I dropped Lane for Jacob Wheeler....dumb.

rascal23
I changed my "A" bucket 5 times before going with Faircloth. Dropped Jacob P. for him.Looks like the "classic" was easy to pick compared to Elite 1. Good luck on the Sabine!!rascal
RuddyDuck
Looking at some pics from the Sabine river tourney last year, it sure looks like an interesting place to fish. Hard on Boats and lower units! Well, I'm going with a new strategy this tourney. No more picking guys that I remember about in Bassmasters from 30+ years ago!!(Paul Elias, hey he was the inventor of deep crankin back then. Figured I couldn't go wrong.) Hope the loud guy can keep his boat out of the trees this time. Good luck.
JP Z
I've switched my Bucket A a couple times.............do I go with the River rat or the local knowledge..........or do I flip a coin.......or pull out the old 15 sided D&D die. Hester
I would go with the flippers or froggers: Hackney, Lane, Faircloth or Rojas in A.
bassfshin24
Yeah it's going to be a grind. I love tourney's like these.
JP Z
Rojas has the first limit 1 hour in.......dang it!!!
Hester
I kind of gambled and went with Chris Lane, so far it has paid off. The rest of my pics are having a tough day.
JP Z
Well done Hester............yeah he wasn't in my top 10 even..........well maybe number
CCGinMN
Wow, I almost have three in the top ten with Rojas, Scroggins, and Monroe. If only Monroe and Tietje had a good first day. That video "Brandon Card in a Tight Spot" reminds me of a tournament I won by going through the culvert between Big and Little Waverly. That culvert was so tight we had to borrow a buddies boat. Good times...
lookincalifornia
Looks like I chose the wrong lane brother! At least I took Faircloth
JP Z
Hey CHAMP196 - N. Hillmer Shoot me a PM with your address and I'll pass it on to Cecil for your goodies.
rascal23
Guntersville should be interesting-tough to pick. Not sure the locals will have an advantage here, or a certain technique. Momentum and confidence might be the biggest factors. Kind of funny, guys who I like and would want to win, are not the guys I'm picking so far. Big fan of KVD, Brandon P., Shaw Grigsby, and a few others I've yet to pick. Part of the game I guess. Have fun all!rascal
RuddyDuck
I think Hackney and Tharp were fishing with Snoopy Poles this past weekend!

CCGinMN
Did you guys see the story about Justin Lucas running out of gas, Ish picking him and his official (and his bag of fish) up and bringing them in with only two minutes To go? Crazy. Lol, JL owes Ish $7K. That is how much more Ish would have made if he would have just driven by. That act also allowed JL to cash a check for 1st place and $100K. If I were JL, I would feel obligated to at least throw him a few bones. Of course it was also just the right thing to do. WHat do you guys think? Steak dinner and three good scouting tips in a future tournament?
Deitz Dittrich
I saw the Vid.. was super nice of Ish. . JL was pretty excited, Ish kept him calm, secured his boat and like you said, got him to weigh in with 2 mins to spare.
