waxworm09
I am buying a big buddy heater this week, and wondering where is the best place to buy the hose to connect to the 20 lb propane tank? The heater is $98 at runnings which is the best price I can find, but the hose is expensive there!
aanderud
Did you try google?http://lmgtfy.com/?q=buy+a+buddy+heater+hoseIn all seriousness, I'm sure you could get one from any of 30 different vendors, online and brick and mortar. I'd guess that almost any brick and mortar shop will be expensive (gander mountain, especially), so I go online unless I'm in a hurry. I got mine from amazon, but not sure if you can get it shipped before your trip this week.If you buy the quick-connect hose with the in-line regulator, you supposedly don't need a filter. If you get the straight hose with no regulator in it, you'll want to grab the filter as well (another 8-10 bucks). To be safe, I would guess you could put the filter on with either one for a nice clean install.
gunner55
L & M supply has quite a selection at what looked to be a good price.Probably not a store nearby though.
aczr2k
Don't buy the Mr Heater hose, go to a propane supply store and have them make you up a hose, they will have the regulator and quick connect also. You will thank me later. The Mr Heater hose is worthless in the cold.
