monstermoose78
What has been working for me is a Pug Bug Jig with a Clam Maki Plastic mino in white with red flakes
Jim Uran
Crappiezilla 3/4" ice stingers have been nailing them for me as of late. Tough to beat a 4mm tungsten jig!
CRET
WOW... went out and caught crappies on small tungsten jig and Maki mino, the white with red specs... Wow! Bobber line was dead but jigger with plastics!!! I am sold! Also used 1/64 the glow, head with Maki may fly... not as many but worked!... plastics baby!! What color head do you see working the best for clear water. I had a pink white black tungsten jig head with white red flake minow on. Is there another color jig that works good?Bob
monstermoose78
I have been using orange and white, but my brother used a perch color tungsten jig with the white and red flaked mino. The jig color has not been as important as the plastic color. I do have the shiner colored mino and I think it would work as good on clear lakes. bbfenatic
I have been using the VMC Tungsten Tubby Jig Red Glow 1/32oz tipped with either a 1" gulp minnow watermelon colored or tipped with a Northland 1" minnow in white...both are producing quite well on the crappies for me.
