Whats everyones favorite fish for table fare? And how do you prepare yours.

Battered and deep fried. Louisiana Fish Fry is my favorite. I also enjoy a fish sandwich from time to time. Panfish or walleye are the tastiest in my opinion.

Halibut, sockeye, and silver salmon. Crappies are my favorite freshwater fish though.

Bake, grill or fry the halibut it just depends on how lazy I am. As for the salmon: baked,pan fried with spices, grilled, stir fry, smoked, it's all good

Its hard to beat fresh Red salmon on the grill! Halibut is great as well. For freshwater, I would have to go with bluegill fried in butter and garlic!

SALMON ! grilled with a little olive oil, lemon pepper and cajon powder, drip a little melted butter on it when done. (wifey like a little fresh lemon on hers) But I love gills even more! I mix 1/3 original shore lunch, 1/3 cajon shore lunch, 1/3 flour in a gallon baggy. A little water rinse and in the bag with the sunnies. Lay them out on a plate then fried in my 12 inch pan with canola oil and some butter. I also love northern and cut it up and fry the same way... and eyes.... and crappies... and perch..... mmmmmmmmm!
