I saw that, it was pretty awesome. Tough to think fans in US cities would have done the same. Maybe just because in general people might not know the Canadian anthem, maybe a cultural thing.

Oh Canada... Our home and native land......

I spent much of my younger years trolling the dirt tracks of MN and WI. They always did "oh Canada" The vast majority of the fans would stand, remove hats, and sing along with their anthem same as ours. It's a sign of respect.
