112 terrova has no power

The last time I had my boat out I noticed the bow mount had no power, when on number 10 it would only pull the boat about 1 mph, used to do about 3 mph. When I press the battery meter on the motor it says the battery is full. When I got home and plugged it in one of the 3 banks had a light lit up that says check connection. What could this mean? The boat and all the equipment is new this year so hopefully something hasn't gone bad. Anyone have any ideas?

Check the connections? Check the water level? Connect a charger to the batteries one at a time to see if they are all charged up. Measure the voltage on them with a multimeter?

Sometimes I get suspicious of the accuracy of the "check battery" on my Terrova. This summer it and the meter in the boat often did not agree.

Or, if by new you mean still under warranty, take it back to dealer and have them check it out.

If there is a "Check connection" it's possible that you now have a 36V motor running on 24V, in which case it'll act real goofy.

Check to be sure you have the right voltage @ your trolling motor plug.

+1 Check the voltage at the plug with a multimeter and confirm that you have 35-37v, if not, separate the batteries and check them individually. I believe a fully charged battery should read 12.6 volts, if they all check out, I would say you have a wiring issue between the batteries and plug. If you have sufficient voltage at the plug, then it would appear its in your motor somewhere.
