Sprayed Tri mec on my lawn crabgrass and other weeds seem completely unaffected by the stuff-Did I do it wrong? Should I use something else?

Is there a pesticide that kills crabgrass and leaves lawn grass alone? I thought that is why folks use pre-emergent for crabgrass.

i use tri mec plus for crab grass.

Yes. You can kill crabgrass with a post emergent herbicide, we use a product called Drive at work and it works great. It can be difficult to control once it comes up though and the products that treat it are much more expensive than your typical 2-4D type products that treat regular broadleaf weeds.

Pretty sure straight TriMec won't do anything to Crabgrass.

You can use Drive, Momentum Q, Q4 or a version of TrimMec that's rated for crabgrass control.

The first group of chemicals you will need to do a search for, as you cannot buy them in big box stores.

I use a blow torch for crabgrass. Don't even have to read the label.

As long as you follow label directions. That's why products have labels.
