delcecchi
Is there a pesticide that kills crabgrass and leaves lawn grass alone? I thought that is why folks use pre-emergent for crabgrass.

You can kill crabgrass with a post emergent herbicide, we use a product called Drive at work and it works great. It can be difficult to control once it comes up though and the products that treat it are much more expensive than your typical 2-4D type products that treat regular broadleaf weeds. LwnmwnMan2
Pretty sure straight TriMec won't do anything to Crabgrass. You can use Drive, Momentum Q, Q4 or a version of TrimMec that's rated for crabgrass control. The first group of chemicals you will need to do a search for, as you cannot buy them in big box stores. th64
Thanks and those will not hurt my lawn right? (assuming my lawn is not 100% weeds!)
Tom7227
I use a blow torch for crabgrass. Don't even have to read the label.
LwnmwnMan2
Thanks and those will not hurt my lawn right? (assuming my lawn is not 100% weeds!) As long as you follow label directions. That's why products have labels.
