Looking for some assistance on how or where to get info on installing a electric brake assist in my 97 suburban. Also have a 4 way trailer plug on it (which I need to keep for boat) but want to put a round R/V trailer plug on it to pull my camper. Need help with it or advice, Or is it easier to take it to have it done some where? Thanks...

Got to the site where you can watch videos and type in Installing electric brake controller on 97 chevy. One pops up for a 98 suburban which I would guess is probably the same. I did this on my old 2007 GMC Sierra and it was a piece of cake to install.

The instructions with the brake controller will guide you with no issues. As far as the round plug, I've never put one in, but I believe they come as a harness that you should be able to install as well. Stop at an auto parts store and ask them.
