It looks like what I call a "little brown mushroom".

yup- LBM, little brown mushroom.. impossible really to say without knowing where it came from. was it in the ground, on wood? Was it growing with others in a ring? Either way, probably don't eat it.

It tasted just fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii THUD.

It was on a dead log in WC Minnesota. It was with several others spread out.

Thanks, hoping to find some that I know are good to eat this weekend. Ramps are done in my neighborhood (Northern Kandiyohi county).

One thing I know for sure about muchrooms that are edible. There is talk and pictures of them all over the net, so if you can't find much on it I wouldn't be eating it.

I'm trying to figure out what the mushroom is sitting on. I'm going with piece of a car floor mat on top of on an old counter top with dried up glue drippings?
