Dotch
Aw, cute little feller. One just showed up over noon so cleaned up a hanging feeder for them. Wind gets so fierce in more open country sometimes it's tough to keep them full. At least sugar water is cheap.

Jim Almquist
Today was our first and of course I did not have the feeder up. Got 4 of them out there but no takers yet.
Sturg
Eyeguy, your second set of hummingbird photos are great! What lens and camera combo are you using? Looks like the birds were cooperating.
eyeguy 54
thx, it helps a lot when the sun is out! Nikon D5100 with a Nikkor 18-300 lens. Focal length around 230. While in my chair the feeder is about 10 feet away so I have to crop a bit. I also use elements 11 to edit when needed. These 3 shots were not in this order. He came back 3 times while I sat there so I did 3 to make it look like in order.
Hawg
Eyeguy. Crazy glue works good to keep the guards on the feeder. Mine pack with bees if I don't have them on.Very nice photos!
eyeguy 54
one has them, one doesnt. Ants are more of a problem here and nothing seams to help other than cleaning once in a while.
