I was thinking of getting a rod for tossing some of these jigs and wondering what power rod I should be looking at. I have a heavy action for pike and ski's but I cant toss anything light with that. I will also be using this for spinner baits, swim jig, chatter baits, and if possible top water baits as well. Thanks

I use a MH for a jig rod both loomis and Fenwick, every brand and action is slightly different though. 7' is my preferred length. I would think a mh with a fast tip would do most of what your wanting to do.

I would go with a 7ft MH fast action. I would say that's probably one of the best all around rods you could get. I throw my jigs on a 7'3 H 13 fishing Omen. So far I love it! Pretty sensitive for a heavy action.

I saw on the N/S site that the new owner has begun making jigs. That's good news! Just should be a little bit before the inventory is built up. Now I just need to keep the pike away from the ones I have.

Yes he has, he also just got a TW order for spinnerbaits, so he his getting his feet held to the fire right away lol. Give him a little bit of time, Bret is a really good guy and will get things up and running shortly.

Just bought some of their jigs this year, thanks to all the glowing reviews on the forums here. Caught a 20", 21" and 24" bass on opener, all three beating my previous personal bests, all on the Southpaw black and blue.

Love these guys, will definitely be buying more (my brother already lost one in a tree).
