Squirrels - Three of the four species

Originally these three were all sitting close enough that I thought I could get a group shot with a 18-55mm lens. But they split-up to quickly. So I took a couple "take that" shots with the 400mm + 1.4x extender. In order, Fox, Grey, & Red squirrel.

With no other houses close and only one other place feeding birds or deer we are getting lots of wildlife. But we maybe getting to many squirrels. Counted 3-fox squirrels, 2-grey squirrels and 6-red squirrels in the yard at one time this past week.

Growing up in ND the fox has always been my favorite. Never have seen one in my yard here. Gray, red and flying.

Last monday I looked out and there were 19 around my feeders Lets just say as of this morning 14 are MIA

Used to eat fox squirrels years ago. There really tasty in the crock pot with cream of mushroom soup.
