Funny!! Sights like that were fairly common in the old days when ice augers were made from automobile starters fabricated onto hand augers and jumped off the car battery. With no clutching, when the auger bound you got a ride until the jumper cable popped off.

Classic ... only time I got a ride was when I was drilling with no snow and no cleats on.... laugh

Lol we did this a couple years back at a fishing contest when the fish weren't biting...There may have been a couple beers involved whistle...The bit was just a little bent, we bent it back and used it the rest of the season haha
