Solo leacking gas

Gofishleech

Question

My 2 year old solo is leaking gas and wont start. It started and cut several holes a few days ago. Went to use it and it ran rough and would not stay running. It had fresh gas and ran fine. Now it will drip the tank empty. I assume a stuck float but what's the fix?

I would check the lines going into the tank, one is to feed the carb and the other is a return I believe. They can get brittle after some time and they will crack and then the auger will run poorly.

I would guess it could be one of the two lines from the tanlk to the carb. If there is a crack, even a very small one, it will suck some air and not enough fuel.

Seen this numerous times with a crack in a fuel line.

I have replaced mine twice in the last 5 years. I now will do my fuel lines after a 2 year time to make sure I doi not have any issues.
