i just bought a utility trailer with a four flat harness and I have a five flat on my truck. a blue wire comes off the five flat side and is suppose to tie into the reverse lights wire, which i dont think this trailer has in the first place.
From what I can tell you should only need to tie the blue wire in if the powered side is four flat going to the trailer being a five flat connection which in my case its opposite. I should just be able to snip off the blue wire and not even mess with it right?

Nice to finally meet you tonight. Make sure you tell me who you are again next time you come in. I will probably forget.
Let me know when you are dropping in again and I'll make sure we have more of those beverages around!

I’ve never been in the AR woods before but you’ve arrived by the looks of it.
Good luck.
