cps420us
The last 2 days I've been out, I can't seem to either get it started or keep it running. I got 80:1 Amsoil, non-oxy, and ounce of seafoam. Once I get it home after being in the warm vehicle, it starts first pull. The auger is only 3 years old. Anyone have an idea what could be the problem?
Evobassfish
Try changing spark plug, and filter. I change my plugs yearly because its cheap maintenance.

hamms-scooter
Mine is new took about 6 pulls or so. after warm 1. Not sure what the deal is there... Carb adjustment? main jet?
Jigging Joe
Is it brand new gas? If it is, put a new spark plug in it. Gas begins to break down in the first few weeks, so if its gas that's a few months old, it may be bad, sea foam only does so much...

Cliff Wagenbach
Sounds like water somewhere in the line. Especially if it starts the first pull after being in a warm truck!Try adding a little Heet to the fuel.Cliff

BryeGuy
Have you recently greased the gear box? I bought a used Nils and shot some grease into it. The next weekend i was on Vermilion and It wouldnt start or ran like dump. Grease was pushed up and coating the fly wheel and coil not allowing good spark. Esox will be with you shortly
Surface Tension
When you bring it into a warm place. The fuel warms and expands. Be sure to vent the tank to relieve the pressure. Yes the Nils a vented gas cap but don't rely on that. So you bring it out in the cold and the fuel by volume creates a vacuum. Again vent the cap to break the vacuum. Bringing a cold gas tank into a warm place. Note the frost that will develop on the outside of the gas tank. Same thing is happening to the inside of the gas tank but instead of melting off the outside of the tank and drying it stays in the tank. hamms-scooter
Speaking of the grease does a guy need to do anything with that? I see a fitting for grease gun but figured it is ready to rock out of the box and never heard anyone needing to add any
Surface Tension
The manual says "should be applied at every 50 hour intervals." How much I can't say. A few pumps.
