Snowmobile auger bracket

I'm looking for a good bracket to mount on an older Indy trail but what I have seen only holds the bit not the motor. Will this damage the gear case or motor? I wasn't looking to have to fabricate something myself.

I just bought a Digger one and it can't be simpler. There is an aluminum L bracket, as mentioned, that you install to support the auger head/motor. It's not pre-installed from the factory because not all augers are the same. So, you just mount your auger on the Digger and figure out where the L bracket needs to be and screw in the self tapping screws.

The "finger" or whatever you would call it that holds the auger on makes it effortless to remove the auger or put it back on.

The Digger blows all other mounts out of the water.

I use this this every day to hold my Nils Master for test drills.

No way I could put up a mount that isn't as fast an easy and it comes down to a safety issue

when changing razor sharp blades out on the ice.
