Scope on Muzzleloader

Probably going to go out if we have a few days of nice weather. Can one use a scope during the ML season and if so, any power or does it have to be no magnification?

No scopes are allowed during the muzzleloader season.....Yet. You can get a permit for an non-magnifying scope like a red dot if you can get a note from your eye doctor and submit an application to St. Paul. I have a scope on my muzzleloader with quick release mounts for use during the regular firearms season and look forward to when we can use them during the late season. I hope this happens sooner than latter.

If you're in the B zone and still have an unfilled B tag, you can use your scoped ML.

Two things to remember though:

Do not have your MZ tag on you if you do this.

Do not cross tag/party hunt with other MZ hunters.

Yep, you can use the scope during gun season but you can't use it during the Muzzleloader season.
