Gophers-Cornhuskers parking options

Have some friends from southern Mn. heading up to the game on Sat. How early do the parking lots and ramps fill up. (We always stay at the Day's I## and park there) I suggested the Oak St. ramp or the lot to the south of that. Any other options when you don't have a parking pass for that area?

State Fair Grounds allow tail gating and a free bus ride to the stadium on an express route right to the front door of TCF. That's where I always go.

Agreed. State Fair Grounds are a fantastic option. The tailgating is good, travel to and from is easy and not congested like campus, and it's cheap. The only two negatives are that you're isolated away from the stadium/campus and the line to board the buses after the game sucks. However, as mentioned there is lots of good tailgating going on so you're really not that isolated. After the game, it's best to take in the stadium a little longer and maybe grab a beer nearby while waiting for the bus lines to diminish.

I'll rent you my parking pass. Get you nice and close two blocks away. You just have to come a pick up and drop it off. Sorry cant do that!!! The fair grounds are a good option. However you will be surrounded by the traveling team. That's where we send them.

Parking options for the Gopher game??? How about next to the woods so they can go hunting or at the boat ramp. Both of those would be great parking options for the Gopher game. I will be aimlessly driving around a corn field, hopefully never parked for too long.
