30 years ago I use to sit on warm Fall days at the boardwalk on Kuhsee in Augsburg Germany and sip an Erdinger Dark Weissbier

I found this wonderful beer here locally.

Brings back some sweet memories.

I'd guess that's a $6-7 bottle. Not bad considering how often you'll likely drink it

Probably pretty good beer, but a little too fancy for me

It's born from hops that have been grown on a north-facing slope, in rich peaty soil, with mature oaks and blueberry bushes populating the area. It also combines light hints of almonds with a touch of anise, all overpowered by Tostito's Hint-o-Lime chips and Aunt Mabel's medium salsa.

Found this at MGM the other day. $2.49 a bottle. Considering what you pay per beer at a bar, I'm OK with that price.

Right on. I don't mind paying for something I enjoy. For what you pay at a bar for regular beer (which I do drink on occasion) you can get some mighty fine take out.
