erikwells
I keep my bow about 100 miles away from where I spend the work week (work week Bloomington, weekends New London). That said I shoot a Bear Legion bow I purchased with the ready to hunt package. It came with a Trophy Ridge site and I discovered last weekend the light is not working. It takes 3 batteries I discovered after I unscrewed it. I neglected to grab one of the batteries to match up to buy new ones. Can anyone tell me which type of batteries I need? I assume it's the batteries are dead.Thank you,Erik
Cheetah
TrophyRidge might say on their HSOforum.
sticknstring
LR41 or 392's should work for that light. Check your local archery shop, Walmart, or online.

erikwells
Thanks. I of course discovered my lite was not working during an evening hunt last week. I was in the woods not too long after sunset I already had no business shooting. Thanks again.

nonteepical
how long ago did they change the law for being able to use lighted sights?

FishLocker
Good question. Looking in the regulations, that point is not addressed as legal or illegal. Just got off the phone with MN DNR Enforcement officer. They specified regulations for bow, and was told illuminated sights designed to illuminate the pins are legal. Laser sights that project a red dot and those designed to illuminate the deer are not legal.
nonteepical
Wow, never used to be. That really promotes shooting after legal shooting light, so much for fair chase.
jerkbait
I beg to differ. Have you ever tried them lighted sights? I tried mine target shooting one evening and all it does is make the target disapear. At least that is what I found.
nonteepical
I'm talking giving you an extra 10 minutes in the stand, it's past legal shooting light, time to leave, but you can count points on a buck 15 yards away yet it's just dark enough where you can't see your pins.... now turn on a light. No i haven't used one it used to be illegal and assumed it still was.
jerkbait
I just got back into arcery this year and my new boe the sight came with the light so I have only played with it shooting at the target. I do know on sunday evening I had another 8-10 minutes of legal time and could not see my sights anymore sitting in a blind. Should have played with it then.
