You can get the parts at ace hardware. Takes about an hour to replace.

Really? I'll check into that.

Oh to you others guys, yes google is my friend and I did find a few places. Guess I should have said who would you take it to, but it probably doesn't make much difference.

I did check out you tube and a have replaced the screen on a G2 before. Maybe I'll give it a shot... if she will let me!

I left mine in the car on a sunny day with the sun on it for about a half an hour (monitor it and when it feels warm it is ready). The screen literally lifted off using my nails. The only thing they don't give you is the adhesive for the new screen. They use the very thin 3M double sided foamy looking tape. You can find a lot of info on the tape and how to do it on the youtubes.
