PEATMOSS
Simple question, anyone know for sure, whether or not sunnies or crappies eat army worms?
Bobby Bass
I have been on the water where the worms are floating and are ignored by the sunnies, May be because they have ate their fill but I have never seen one slurped by a sunfish.. ThunderLund78
I posed this exact question two years ago when we had a bad outbreak of them at our cabin. Thought it would make sense to "match the hatch"Several other people in the area had already tried it and it turns out the fish just don't like them. They must taste nasty to them or something. Too bad because I had a big free bait opportunity.
Rick G
Don't know about sunfish, but I have caught a lot of walleyes and bass around the trees during army worm infestations
