Camping pillow

Recommended Posts

I usually use a mummy bag and I just stuff a towel, sweatshirt or some sort of clothing in the part that is supposed to go over your head. It works well since the bag holds the clothing in place and prevents you from losing your pillow off the side of the sleeping pad.

I don't like taking anything more than I have to when I go camping and I try to make sure everything I bring has 2 purposes.

I have the thermarest camp pillow. Its great if I don't need the space, but it takes about the same as a sweatshirt in my pack, so if I'm backpacking or taking a longer trip, I would leave it in favor of the sweathshirt.

I boat, or car camp, but still wanted something smaller then my bed pillow. I bought the large size Thermarest pillow and love it. You really never know until you use it if you will like a pillow. I'm very happy. Just got back from Voyageurs Park and it was perfect! Thanks for the replies.
