Lure Identification

A few years back my wife's grandfather gave me a bunch of older lures that he had sitting around. He figured I'd keep using them but I thought they were pretty cool looking so I ended up framing them and hanging them on the wall. I now find myself curious as to what the lure names are. Below is a picture of the collection and couple close ups. Anyone know the names of the lures? I obviously know some of them as I included a daredevil and a rapala but some of the others I don't know anything about.

This is maybe half of the collection. I framed the nicer ones but I still have a box of duplicates that I may try out one of these days.

I think I see some Heddons, the one on the left 2nd row down could be a rare one, not totally sure. I too, have a bunch and framed up that we enjoy.

The back is some sort of thin foam board covered in a fabric. I used small nails/pins to attach the lures. I put the nail through the eyelets on the lure and push them into the foam. You can sort of see it in the close up photos. It ended up working well and lets the lure hang pretty naturally and the nails aren't overly visible in the eyelets.

I think I picked up the frame/shadow box from Michaels. Its a couple inches deep so plety of room and the frame front opens like a door so you have easy access to the lures if you ever want to change them out. The 2 close up pictures were actually taken with the from open.

I'll have to check that out. I've was thinking some were Heddon's but it looks like there are a few similar styles so its tough to know exactly which version they are.

Creek Chub Bait Company Pikies, jointed and non. Heddon River Runts, Heddon Bass Orenos, Pflueger Palomine or Mustang...I ain't as good as I once was. Gotta blow the dust off my own collection and books. Used to know them instantly.

Glass or tack eyes on wood bodies have the most value, some of the others don't have more than sentimental value.

The smaller lipped plugs look to be heddon river runts due to the hook and lip hardware. Millsite made similar styled baits as did paw paw with the lippy joes, but had different hook and lip hardware. There is a jointed mirro lure towards the bottom with the square lip, the larger lure looks like a cisco kid pikie minnow and a jointed pikie minnow. The odd looking jointed one on the upper right looks to be a paw paw bait company lure. A couple heddon bass orenos and I believe the one with the odd shaped all wooden bait is a creek darter made by Creek chub bait company best as I can tell but it would have a creek chub logo or heddon. I haven't been able to figure out the larger wooden plug with the extended metal diving bill. Check the bodies of the baits for printing and the lips for logo's stamped into the metal and that should give you a direction to look. From the paint style I'd say its creek chub bait. Nice shadow box!

I have a display of my Grandpa's lures and it looks almost the same! Those creek chubs were popular I think.
