ETH310
I started fishing Flatheads late last summer and we had them dialed in pretty good. I am gonna head out tonight or tomorrow night for the first time this year. What makes a good early season, high water spot. I'm guessing my spots from last fall are moving too fast...I'm guessing current seams and breaks, but figured asking the experts couldn't hurt. Thanks for the help. dan z
I would look for an outside corner with a creek flowing and brush nearby to slow the current. But I'm no expert
Gordie
When the water is on the rise look for spots close to shore. places where bait fish will congregate. Small subtle changes are all that it some times is needed to hold a few fish in a spot like this too. current seams and off of feeder creeks are another place I like to try. Rick G
The advice Gordie gave is true for all species of fish in a rising river.
