AP says: 2,500 yds

This isn't the first time AP has predicted 2500 yards. In fact, he's been predicting that mark since the off-season after his rookie year. He sets high goals, and for the most part, he reaches them. That kind of mentality is why he is the undisputed best back in the game. I sure as heck ain't betting against him and darn sure will be rooting for him. He was basically one carry away from Dickerson's record last year, and that kind of motivation can really drive a goal-oriented guy like AP. Historically, almost to a fault, any 2K rusher has followed up with a rather pedestrian type year the next year, but AP is not your average RB! Skol, Vikes!

Adrian Peterson needs 2,017 yards in the season's final 11 games to reach 2,500.
