downloading or playing movies on I-phone

I like to watch movies on my Iphone. I use netflix when I have an internet connection. Can I load movies on the I Phone to play them later? If so , how and where would I get the movies from. Can I get any movies for free? Thanks!

ITunes has tons of movies, but they are not free. Choose the lower resolution for best results and they are cheaper too, about $3.00

You can rip DVDs and convert to use on iphone. You can rent movies from amazon and download for viewing later, I'm not sure what the rules are.

heh. Yes you can get movies for free (you'll have to figure that one out yourself) and use a program like handbrake to convert them to watch on iphone and ipad or any other kind of device.

It is fairly straightforward to rip a dvd that you own or possess and convert to MP4. A few minutes on google should turn up the instructions. I have them bookmarked and am on gmail.
