Stinkin' weathermen...

We hunted yesterday, but with my buddy's little boy (not quite 3 years old yet) along, it was much more of a scouting mission than anything. We scouted out two great looking spots and one more good spot. However, we called off hunting today because the big storm was supposed to hit between 3 and 4 AM. The weather was wonderful until noon and man did it tick me off sitting at home the whole morning! Stinking weathermen! I looked at several reports and most of them said it was going to get bad before sun up, so we called it off. Oh well- it's a long season. I sure would have liked to be out there this morning though. I believe one of us would have shot a bird this morning...

That's why I always have a spot close to home that I save for these days. Something within 15 minutes from home and easy access, that I don't need blind or anything but the gun and call.

Nope- no pressure with this tag for me. I'll have fun and hunt as much and as hard as I can. If I get a bird, great! If not, I can live with that.
