Dramatic Jobs!!!

I love Gold Rush, Axe Men, Yukon Men, and Swamp People but I do wonder if the producers at Discovery and History could dramatized my job as much as these shows.

Tonight's episode of Swamp People, voice over guy: 'Willie is trying a new tactic.... getting out before dawn.' Really? 300 years of alligator hunting and they just thought about getting on the water before dawn?

My job as described by a reality TV producer: voice over guy: "Mike is trying a new tactic, reading his morning e-mails before getting a coffee."

If you watch those reality shows closely, you can find all kinds of errors. On Swamp People, they are talking about being way back in a far corner of the swamp and there are houses and boats and no trespassing signs and you can see several other boats on the water that aren't part of the production.

On Wicked Tuna, they are talking about being over 100 miles out on Georges Bank, yet when they are fighting the tuna at night, you can see the shore lights from the buildings pretty close?
