FL-22 purchase....

I am looking at heading to Rogers to visit the big store to purchase my new FL-22hd. I am really wanting the Pro view ducer rather than the tri beam. I look at their HSOforum i only see that they are offering the tri beams. Does anyone know if i can get the package i want???

Buy it there with your gift cards, then plan a trip to Vexilar to swap it out with them. Call to make sure they will, but they should.

I did something similar with mine. FL22's where hard to come buy when they first came out. I purchase mine at Cabelas's with Propack and ran to Vexilar to upgrade to Ultrapack (paid the difference)

They threw in an extra rod holder and 2 towels for driving down there.

yep i just got off the phone with the big box store and all they carry are the tri beams... really bums me out actually. I'd hate to drive all the way from western mn to rogers, then to minneapolis....

i guess this might restart my debate on the marcum.... (even though i feel dirty just saying that)

Check with the sporting goods store in Walker. Their HSOforum shows the FL-22 with the proview transducer. You can get a discount if you register with them I believe. Also there is free shipping. If you can wait a couple days you would have what you want without having to leave your house. Can't believe they aren't a bit cheaper than the other store.

he is right. Reed's does offer it in both the pro pack and the ultra pack and they offer it with choice of either the 12 degree, tri beam, or pro view. proview & tribeam adds a extra $30.00 to the price.

since you plan to get it with gift cards why not just get the tri beam for now and buy the pro view seperate then sell the tri beam to make back some of the money you spent for the pro view.

I have just been hearing and reading that the pro view is the way to go. Hard to spend that kind of money to just plan on changing out the ducer,,,,,,,,

I know this is like apple and oranges but I almost purchased the showdown when it came out, I eventually ended up going with the fl12 and was pleased with my decisions. I know what to expect from vexilar'. I guess my fear with the lx7 is that I will regret it in the long run
