MNCPRGUY
Anybody ever used the Mopod with a Micro? My only complaint with this little unit is that it can be difficult to aim the camera due to the small diameter camera cable. I am usually just dropping it down the hole for a quick look at structure and activity, but the are times when the kids want to stare at their jig, etc. It's quite a bit of fuss twisting the cable with your fingers and hoping the camera comes to rest in the right spot. I'm wondering if a slower/steadier approach with a Mopod would improve the "aimability" of the camera?
Deitz Dittrich
I have found that putting a heavier weight on the bottom of the camera helps with the spinning.
birz
A weight on the bottom is a must. I have used the non-motorized camera compass and it works fairly well but camera will still drift much faster than a standard full sized camera. With the wireless remote you can have total control of your eye on the jig or fish swimming around. Once I am on the fish you will have a true hands free setup. MNCPRGUY
I use the Mopod3 with the Aqua vu snake. Exactly the setup I am looking at for my portable. Already have the snake and love it!

MNCPRGUY
I used my Mopopd and aqua view micro this weekend. LOVED IT! Having the remote on my zipper pull and being able to make small adjustments to the camera with almost no effort is exactly what I was looking for. It'll be getting a lot of use this winter!
