Yeah I looked at that online calulator and 3 others, they ranged from 5.5 to 7.3.

Bassfisn24 - I just saw your posts and weights in this forum. I'd say your the best person to answer my question about October 13th 2012 21" mille lacs smallies HA! grin

5.5 it is, thanks guys that's exactly the info I was looking for.

I have to admit I had the big eyes going and thought it would have been more. Geez what does a 8lbs smallie look like....

Cecil, not sure if this is one of the ones you saw....but this pic made the rounds a year ago. This fish was apparently in the upper 7lb range. Terrible picture and there could be some catch and "release" issues here, but guy claimed it was 7lbs 15oz.

Here's the other image I've seen. Again, not a great pic, but thats a hawg. Even if the guy has massive hands, thats a 22.5-23" fish.

Second pic (on the left) is a 7.5lber from another locale (Cecil knows where). Fish on the right was 6.5lb if memory serves.

You can doubt all you want, but both of these fish are loads bigger than the original posters fish, which should not be taken as a negative, that is still a really nice smallie.
