Nothing giant like above but all MN public land from several 2012 spring scouting missions.

No pics, but this past Saturday we scouted a new area and I have never seen rubs like that before. They were everywhere, textbook rub lines...big trees, little trees. I was almost in shock. They are definitely in the pre-rut phase in our area.

I saw my first of the year this morning on a small balsam.

Finally saw a couple of scrapes last weekend, haven't seen a rub yet. I've been mostly staying out of the woods & just hunting or perusing the edges.
