I am not a fan of Kobe, or the Lakers.

But then again, I also cant stand the Heat, or the Celtics.

The one big issue I have with the "Super Stars" is they get all the special calls. Look back at what Jordan got away with, a couple extra steps, a shove out of the way, a shoulder into the defender while on the drive. A lot of the time, the infraction would be called on Jordans defender. I am not taking anything away from just Jordan, because a lot of your "super stars " get the same treatments. But it is hard to play your game, or defend them, when you are getting fouled, for something you would do to another player on the court, and not get a call against you.

Go back and really watch the games when Jordan would play say the Pistons or the Celtics or the Knicks and watch how much everyone got away with. They fouled harder, hand checked more, got in the opponents face alot more. Yes Jordan got away with a call here and there but he was beaten up alot with not a lot of calls at times too.
