Where to sight in crossbow?

Do any of you know of a range in the North Metro that will allow crossbows? Had some work done to my scope mounts and the thing is way off. Have checked at Bunker, but they won't allow it and many indoor ranges won'e either.

Thanks,

Hey Opie, I have sighted/practiced with my crossbow at a number of ranges. The one on Lexington, north of Highway 96 is one I have used. I guess if it says crossbows are not allowed, I have not seen it. I am also not sure why that would be since a lot of conventional bows are nearly at fast. Is there a reason the ranges told you no?

Most ranges won't have targets that will stop the bolt from an xbow. Bring your own block target (if you're going to shoot a xbow, you better have one) and not many will have a problem with you shooting it.

I was just about to suggest the same range. It is an outdoor city range. I don't know if the excelsior bails have been replaced, but the last couple years they have been almost completely shot through and falling apart. I suggest bringing your own foam type target to shoot at.
