jigginjim
Mine to go Melby in Spicer/New London area, the other is Johnon furs south of Willmar. I sell mine green, live in Buffalo makes it a little harder the discard carcous the garbage only comes once a week. Can have a order of it gets warm. I may start putting some floats out without the trapps to get rats crawl on them early thinking its a safe spot. Until it goes snap. I thinking of doing a coon mount this fall head coming out of a tree hole with a clock setup. Thought would be neat looking for the man cave or den. If I like it I could make more to sell. HunterLee
I think that would be considered pre-setting. And floats don't work that good in the fall. Stick with the fast simple runs and feedbeds and you will get twice the rats twice as fast.
jigginjim
A pre-set would require a trap being present. I don't plan on having a trap on thing until the dat it would happen. It would be making rats think they have a feeding float. I already do sets as you spoke of. I have a couple private ponds, land owners want the rats out. The pond has bank rats and water so dirty you can't see 6" into it. Even if the land owner figures we got all the rats out they seem to show up. Ybone
No flag, stake or other device may be placed to mark or pre-empt a trapping site before the opening of any trapping season. A float would probably fall under the category of other device.
