Leeches!?!

Has anyone purchased leeches in the last few days?? Looking from Metro north for BWCA trip this weekend.

I usually stop at the Fish Lake bait shop in Harris for trips up 35. It's right next to the exit, had a big parking lot for parking and turning with a trailer, and they sell by leeches by the pound and crawlers by the flat.

Try giving them a call.

Yep. Got mine on the way to Mille Lacs and the sizes available were basically worthless for walleyes. Good luck finding big ones.

Leeches are usually small this time of year and a bit spendy. I stopped at Fish Lake in Harris a couple weeks ago and they wanted 20 bucks for a half pound of large (Which are S-M this time of year). I walked out and got them a little closer to to the lake for half that.

I have about a half pound in the fridge i could sell you in duluth. Lsize large. Dont need them anymore with steelhead season around the corner.i bought them a few weeks ago for a trip to the bwca.

It is getting tougher to find. I didn't have a problem finding them through Sept last year. Stopped this morning at my usual spot and all they had were smalls sold in dozens.

BrdHunter01, you found a half pound for $10 this time of year? I'd like to know where because I'm looking. Shoot me a pm if you wouldn't mind.

In the metro I paid $15 for half a pound a couple months ago for a variety pack of sizes.
