If you could introduce muskies into a lake that doesn't stock them, which one would it be? I would love to see muskies in Medicine Lake here in the metro.

I would like to see a fishable population in Lake Pepin on the Mississippi I think It would produce monsters. I know there are huge Pike in there, so why not muskies!

Green Lake in Spicer, MN. That lake can handle them monsters.
It would sure bring lots of people there to fish muskies, b/c otherwise you have to travel to far.
This lake has some in it already but not enough to fish b/c they accidentally came from the New London fish hatchery.

There are a lot of lakes in the state that could support outstanding musky fisheries. My number one choice would be Gull Lake near Brainerd. I think that would be a world class musky fishery. And I live near there too, so I need a closer option than I currently have!

Snowbank Lake up in Ely. Trout water lakes produce monsters, and I can't say I can name a trout water lake in Minnesota that has muskies? They could gorge themselves on the smallies, the northern population isn't that extreme, and we could see what happens

I would love to see Muskies in Gull! I would probably never have to leave Wilson Bay.

I think my wife would be upset with me for heading up to Brainerd every weekend enstead of every other weekend though.

Christmas Lake in Excelsior.... 90 feet depth, spring fed (clearest lake in the metro area) DNR stocked with rainbow trout and it has some fat brownies. They would just have to ixnay the spearing deal!
